A story song about a king who tried to make a castle out many different things. Not all of them worked so well.

The Kings Castle

The King of the land
Built his Castle out of sand
But it was all in vain
Because soon it started to rain
Even though everyone helped
the castle started to melt

The Queen said he should
build his next castle out of wood

His wood castle was so high
it soared right in the sky
but he saw a tail waggin
that belonged to a fire breathing dragon
Who was ready to huff and puff
and blow off hot firey stuff
Everyone in town
watched his castle burn down

Princess Hannah
said to build his next castle out of bananas

So there it stood
The king thought it looked good
But so did all the monkeys
Who were a bunch of banana junkies
And they ate and ate and ate
and ate and ate and ate
they said it tasted it great
They filled up there cups
and ate that castle right up


All the people gave out a groan and yelled
Build your castle out of stone

So he did as they said
He even painted it fire truck red
But in that castle out of stone
The king felt so alone
He was feeling rather blue
then he said I know what to do

The king went outside and screamed
I‘ll through a party like you have never seen.

This party the king threw
It was one gargantuan ta do.
The queen called it a shindig
As she danced a crazy jig
Princess Hannah called it a bash
That she wished would always last
The kingdom all stopped by
Even the dragon and monkeys said hi

Now in the kingdom there is laughter
and everyone lived happily ever after!

At times it was quite a hassle
That’s the story of the Kings Castle
