Blue Shirt 02:47
Blue Shirt I woke up in the morning And I fell right out of bed I looked around my room's a mess And I still have to get dressed But I got my clothes all laid out I got my pants stocks and underroos But the most important part of my clothes Is my shirt that’s blue Blue shirt I just love my Blue Shirt Oh I love my Blue Shirt I love it cause it’s blue I love it cause I can spell it too B-L-U-E Shirt For my birthday I got a blue shirt it was the best gift that I could receive For when I’m in a bad mood I put it on and I’m relieved To have my blue shirt I wear my blue shirt when I go to bed I wear it when I brush my teeth When I am tired I put on my pj’s What keeps me warm is underneath And that’s my blue shirt I don’t want to take off my blue shirt I want to wear it every day Even if it’s ripped torn and covered in dirt There’s only one thing I have to say I love my blue shirt B-L-U-E Shirt

Seasons (Spring) Now the snows all melted, it’s left a big flood, Of brown gushy stuff that we like to call mud Rick Charette says you have to go through it Now he's going to show you just how to do it When you look at the puddle you say oh my goshes I had better get on mud puddle galoshes Even though we see muddle puddles everywhere We’re going to slosh right through like we just don’t care
6.
Dinosaurs are Coming! The Dinosaurs are coming, the Dinosaurs are coming You start running cause the dinosaurs are coming The Dinosaurs lived in Periods Like Triassic and Jurrassic We can forget the Cretaceous I heard that was quite fantastic The Dinos lived on the earth 60 million years ago That’s 59 million 9,999,850 thousand years before Vincent Van Gogh The Dinosaurs are coming, the Dinosaurs are coming You start hopping cause the dinosaurs are coming There’s Tyrannosaurus Rex He’s Ferocious and large If there’s a leader of the Dinosaurs Then he’s in charge T- Rex has short arms And runs 40 Miles per hour Rexxy is a carnivore So he doesn’t eat flowers. The Dinosaurs are coming, the Dinosaurs are coming You start shaking cause the dinosaurs are coming The next Dino we’re after is called the Velociraptor He’s got really long claws And sharp teeth in his jaws A raptor is a predator which means they like to hunt. If you see one, get out of it’s way because you could become his lunch The Dinosaurs are coming, the Dinosaurs are coming You start hiding cause the dinosaurs are coming Now nobody really knows why but the dinosaurs all died Even though they were colossal now they are just fossils So here we are today All the Dinos went away But it’s fun to pretend That they’re still around to play The Dinosaurs are coming, the Dinosaurs are coming You start roaring cause the dinosaurs are coming You start hiding cause the dinosaurs are coming You start shaking cause the dinosaurs are coming You start hopping cause the dinosaurs are coming You start running cause the dinosaurs are coming

Seasons (Fall) Weathers turned chilly now that falls at hand. The leaves from the trees have fallen on the land. The Kings Castle The King of the land Built his Castle out of sand But it was all in vain Because soon it started to rain Even though everyone helped the castle started to melt The Queen said he should build his next castle out of wood His wood castle was so high it soared right in the sky but he saw a tail waggin that belonged to a fire breathing dragon Who was ready to huff and puff and blow off hot firey stuff Everyone in town watched his castle burn down Princess Hannah said to build his next castle out of bananas So there it stood The king thought it looked good But so did all the monkeys Who were a bunch of banana junkies And they ate and ate and ate and ate and ate and ate they said it tasted it great They filled up there cups and ate that castle right up All the people gave out a groan and yelled Build your castle out of stone So he did as they said He even painted it fire truck red But in that castle out of stone The king felt so alone He was feeling rather blue then he said I know what to do The king went outside and screamed I‘ll through a party like you have never seen. This party the king threw It was one gargantuan ta do. The queen called it a shindig As she danced a crazy jig Princess Hannah called it a bash That she wished would always last The kingdom all stopped by Even the dragon and monkeys said hi Now in the kingdom there is laughter and everyone lived happily ever after! At times it was quite a hassle That’s the story of the Kings Castle

about

Mr. Harley - Blue Shirt

Mr. Harley has become a favorite of children everywhere, and his second album, Blue Shirt, is a start-to-finish treat! It will have the kids singing and moving, and their parents may be surprised at how much they’ll want to join in.

Take the title track, an ode to a favorite item of clothing. It’s set to a light ska sound that grown-ups might be surprised to find themselves dancing to. It wouldn’t surprise any kid, though; to them, dancing to “Blue Shirt” is the most natural thing in the world.

The four seasons of the year each get their own moment in the spotlight on Blue Shirt. “Seasons (Winter)” is the opener, and it gives kids a chance to stomp their way through the snow at a faster and faster pace. Look for more high-stepping in the seasons to come...

Mr. Harley gets some help from the kids as he sings “I Like”, a song about some of the things he likes. The kids’ enthusiastic singing along makes it clear they like these things too.

“I’m a pirate!” roars Mr. Harleybeard, and “The Pirate Song” weighs anchor and sets sail. Landlubbers and scurvy dogs alike will enjoy putting their best peg leg forward and doing their best pirate impression.

“Seasons (Spring)” reveals the snow has melted, leaving behind a lot of mud puddles - just the thing for stomping in with a good pair of galoshes.

“The Dinosaurs Are Coming,” Mr Harley warns, but their trombone-like roars are no threat to the kids of today. This may be the most educational song on the album, as we learn about not only the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous eras, but also how they related to post-Impressionistic painting.

“Count To Ten” with Mr. Harley! He leads the gang from one to ten (“Let’s try it again!”) and ten to one (“Nicely done!”), and you’ve never heard a catchier version of one to ten in Spanish.

“Seasons (Summer)” features a Hawaiian-sounding guitar, as Mr. Harley seeks to beat the heat with a jump into the ocean - but first, he’s got to get past all the hot sand...

Wind up the Victrola for “These Friends of Mine,” a toe-tapper from the Twenties - well, not really, but the clarinet, hi-hat, and megaphoned-in vocal, you can be forgiven for thinking it is. Mr. Harley’s friends are all about rhyming - why else would one of them own an icicle tricycle?

When you think of Pink Floyd, you don’t think of children’s music. But “The Gnome,” who first poked his head up on The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, fits right into Mr. Harley’s world. It’s the album’s quietest moment, as much a merry tale as a wholehearted tribute to crazy diamond Syd Barrett.

“Seasons (Fall)” is the fourth season song, and after dealing with snow, mud, and hot sand, it’s time for some fun with leaves.

A fanfare for the King of the Land! He turns out to be a shy and awkward king, but he brightens up as he tells the story of “The King’s Castle.” It takes a few tries to build one that will stay up, but the castle-warming party at the end was worth the wait.

“Freeze” is a cross between Chuck Berry and the Beach Boys that’ll have everybody dancing - until Mr. Harley shouts out the title.

The album’s over, and Mr. Harley’s playing a relaxing game of Go Fish with Mr. Harleybeard and the King of the Land. But wait - who’s that at the door? Why, it’s “Brobot,” searching for his lost dog. After he leaves, Mr. Harley wraps things up by putting all four season songs together - a year’s worth of stomping, splashing, skittering and kicking, which he hopes you’ll enjoy for many years to come.
